John of Rolleston Primary School

General information

John of Rolleston Primary School is a coeducational day school administered by Staffordshire County Council Education Committee. It caters for pupils of Primary School age, ie 5-11 years, and serves the village of Rolleston on Dove and the adjoining housing estate centred on Athlestan Way.

The school is situated on two sites, 200 metres apart. The Sherborne site which was the original village school founded in 1909, became the Robert Sherborne Infant School in 1968 when Alderbrook Junior School opened. The two schools amalgamated in September 1990 to form The John of Rolleston Primary School. <Index>
