Friday 27 November First Night Concert by “Beatus” - “Music for Advent”, 7.30pm, St Mary’s Church
Sunday 29 November Carboot Sale, Scout HQ. Booters 8.45am, Public 10am.
Friday 4 December Pre-School Christmas Concert Derbyshire Police Male Voice Choir , 7.45pm Methodist Church
Saturday 5 December Rolleston Choral Society concert "An Autumn Evening of Beautiful Music" takes place at 7.30pm, St John's Church in Horninglow. Highlights will include the Gloria by John Rutter, Songs of the Fleet by Stanford and - to set the mood for Christmas - the opening chorus, Christians Be Joyful, from Bach's Christmas Oratorio. The conductor is David Johnson, and Glyn Aubrey is guest soloist. Tickets, price £7, are available in advance from Starbucks newsagents, or on the door.

Monday 14 December Parish Council Meeting in the Old Grammar School rooms, adjacent to St Mary's Church, Church Road, commencing at 7.30pm.
Wednesday 16 December Rolleston Choral Society traditional concert of music, carols and readings for Christmas, 7.30pm at the Methodist Chapel in Chapel Lane. Everyone is welcome, of course, but be sure to get there in good time as this always proves to be a very popular occasion.
